Aysegul Karaman is an architect, creative director and researcher working across architecture, digital technologies and spatial research. As co-founder and Creative Director of Apollo Digital & Architecture, she has developed architectural projects ranging from interiors, adaptive reuse and retail environments to cultural and exhibition spaces, often working with existing structures, material character and context as key design drivers.
Alongside her architectural practice, she explores how digital tools and immersive technologies can extend spatial experience. Projects such as Project Nebula, Bristol Hotel VR Experience and Time Travel VR Tour reflect this interdisciplinary approach, bringing together architecture, cultural memory, participation and storytelling.
Her academic work focuses on the relationship between architecture, representation and mixed reality, creating a continuous dialogue between design practice and research. Currently based in London, she continues to develop architectural, digital and research-led projects through international collaborations.
