Aysegul Karaman is an architect, creative director and researcher working across architecture, digital technologies and spatial research. As co-founder and Creative Director of Apollo Digital & Architecture, she has developed projects ranging from interiors, adaptive reuse and retail environments to cultural and exhibition spaces, often using existing structures, material character and context as key design drivers.

Her interest in digital space developed alongside her graduate studies at Istanbul Bilgi University, where she studied Architectural Design and later History, Theory and Criticism of Architecture. Her research focused on the relationship between architectural design processes and mixed and augmented reality technologies, creating a theoretical framework that has continued to inform her practice.

This dialogue between architecture, research and technology is reflected in projects such as Project Nebula, the Bristol Hotel VR Experience and Time Travel VR Tour. Through these works, she explores how immersive technologies can become architectural tools for interpreting cultural memory, reconstructing lost or transformed environments, and creating new forms of spatial participation and storytelling.

Currently based in London, she continues to develop architectural, digital and research-led projects through international collaborations.
